270 XL 2.5M Freestanding Awning

Setting up shade in the bush shouldn't take three people and half an hour. And cheap awnings flap, leak, and snap poles the first time the wind picks up.

The 270 XL Freestanding Awning is built to fix both. Gusseted aluminium A-frame gives you a tough, freestanding setup that one person can roll out solo. 1000GSM PVC and 280GSM poly-cotton canvas keep the rain out and the sun off. Built-in LED lighting means you've got proper light at camp without stringing up extras. Wraps 270 degrees around your vehicle for full coverage at the side and rear.

Key Features

• Gusseted aluminium A-frame is freestanding, lightweight, and tough enough to handle real bush conditions with one-person setup.
• 1000GSM PVC outer bag and 280GSM polyester cotton canvas keep your gear dry with a 3000mm waterproof rating and UV30++ sun protection.
• Upgraded aluminium twist-lock system gives you stronger, more reliable locking than the standard cam locks most awnings come with.
• Built-in dual-colour LED strips (4 x 150cm) switch between bright white and bug-repellent yellow with a dimmer cord, powered by a 3m USB cable.
• Extended 260cm poles suit lifted 4WDs and give you more stability when the wind picks up.
• Quick-release rope ratchets make setup and pack-down fast, no fiddling with knots in the rain.
• Universal awning brackets are longer than standard for a secure fit on most roof racks.
• Mesh storage bag and extendable top arm create a slope for proper water run-off, no pooling on the canvas.
• Available in left-hand and right-hand configurations to suit your vehicle setup, and with or without a rooftop tent access hole.
